Project Management Internship – FAQs


Since 2012, Leapfrog has been conducting successful internships every year and this year, we are opening eight seats for the Project Management internship. Leapfrog embraces an open and innovative culture—making it the best company for aspiring project managers to learn and grow.

As an intern, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with our team of expert mentors and gain conceptual knowledge of how we plan and execute projects. Over the course of six weeks, you can expect a lot of meetings, core project management concepts, and assignments. You will also get to shadow real-time projects and gain hands-on experience that will help you become world-class professionals in the industry.

Internship FAQs:

What are the qualifications and minimum requirements?

To be eligible, you should either hold a Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience or someone pursuing a Master’s degree with 1 year of experience. Good communication is a must-have.

When does the internship start?

The internship program starts on Sep 4, 2023 

Note: All dates are subject to change. Applicants will be notified beforehand.

Can the schedule be adjusted if my college begins or if I have exams in the middle of my internship?

The internship will start on September 04, 2023, and candidates are encouraged to actively participate. Changes to the schedule or internship deliveries are very less susceptible to change.

Will I need to be physically present in the office?

Yes, we will be running the internship program physically. You will need to be present in the office. The assignments and projects can be submitted virtually.

Do I need my own laptop?

Yes, you will require basic working gear like a laptop, headphones, etc.

Will I be paid for this internship?

Yes, all interns will be rightly compensated.

What type of projects/assignments will I be working on?

You will be given project management-specific assignments on the topics covered in class. 

How should I apply?

You can apply for the internship by filling out the application, which shouldn’t take you more than five minutes. The deadline for this year’s internship is August 6th,2023.

If you want to stand out from the crowd, do submit an updated resume and a cover letter.

What happens after submitting the application?

Once we’ve received your application, we’ll shortlist applicants for a written test to measure your writing ability, technical, and analytical skills. We’ll be sharing other details with the shortlisted candidates.

After the written tests, there will be a technical and behavioral interview with senior team members. All the tests and interviews will be conducted virtually.

What will be the timing? ⌚️

This internship requires you to commit to six weeks of full-time work, mandatory from the office. Our regular schedule is from 9 am to 6 pm. 

P.S. Saturdays and Sundays are holidays. 😄

Bonus Tips

What should I expect during the written examinations?

All the questions will be in the subjective format (no multiple-choice questions). The test will be designed to measure your logical and problem-solving skills. The questions will be around various software management concepts and you can take your own approach to write the solutions.

What should I expect in the interview?

In the interview, you will be expected to demonstrate your logical reasoning skills and talk about your experiences so far.
