UX DESIGN INTERNSHIP
Four steps to apply for internship at Leapfrog
It all starts right here
We see the passion you have for creating compelling and interactive designs. Now get ready to learn how to create easy and efficient, relevant and pleasant experiences for users.
I started my career as a front-end developer following the stigma that an engineering student should pursue their career as a software engineer. But later, I discovered UX design, which was the perfect career that aligned with all of my interests and passion.
Today as a UX designer, I get to look at the world through other people’s eyes. I do my best to understand people through the products I help build. I try to create the simplest of experiences, and in doing so, I believe I do my part in contributing to the greater good.
Sabina MaharjanSenior Designer, UX
Working as a UX designer was never my plan, to begin with. I am a computer engineer who joined Leapfrog to be a programmer. It was during my internship period I stumbled upon my first design lesson, 'Kiki Bobo.' With time I discovered my interest and skill set.
The problem-solving sessions, design thinking workshop, and the design-centric culture nurtured me; it helped me realize I love finding solutions through design.
Sabu KoiralaSenior Designer, UX
I studied psychology and design in India. Ever since, I am curious about the human mind and behavior. Subsequently, the possibilities of design, technology, and psychology were exciting and fascinating to me.
I always wanted to be in the UI/UX world. As I work on multiple projects and interact with various clients, I see how my work can help users complete their job and contribute to the project at large. This is a gratifying feeling.
Shaheen ShresthaDesigner, UX
I studied computer applications and worked as a front-end designer for 14 years. As I was always interested in design and doodling, I started my career in this field. I decided to switch to UX design to upgrade my skills, and I once again started from zero as an intern eager to learn new things.
When I joined Leapfrog, I was amazed by the progressive attitude of the company. Everybody was so nice and humble, and it really helped me make a smooth transition from front-end design to UX design.
Grikshmi ManandharDesigner, UX
I got an opportunity to be a part of Leapfrog. I jumped at the opportunity and started my career at Leapfrog as a front-end designer.
Seeing the designs turn into something actionable fascinated me. It made me wanna learn more about front-end development. I kept working hard, and with the support of my amazing peers, I transitioned to the engineering team. Now, I feel like I am exactly where I belong.
Eliza RajbhandariSenior Software Engineer
I got an opportunity in Leapfrog to share my illustrations, and I fell in love with the process of making up stories, composing characters, creatures, and drawing nature. There is always something new to learn now, something new for me to try out.
Now I’m an illustrator/designer, and I interact with the people through the visuals that I draw and I feel closer to the world than ever before.
Roseena SakyaFreelance Illustrator
I joined as a Digital Marketing officer, and I never thought I’d still get to explore my creativity through art. But I did. At Leapfrog, I’m not restricted to just words and blogs to share my stories. I have the freedom to draw and give the stories in my head a visual form.
Thank you Leapfrog, for letting me explore everything I can do and not restricting me to my job description, and for encouraging creativity in everyone.
